Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is a scientific method of monitoring the behavior of people with autism spectrum disorder, learning new social skills and reducing problem behaviors (tantrums, hitting, screaming, etc.). Hundreds of studies have shown that treating autism with ABA improves communication, social interaction, play skills, and self-management in people with developmental disabilities. ABA therapies are developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and administered by Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT).
